Jerrell Mabry offers Texas Southern a true old-school fullback with versatile value
Jerrell Mabry is a **physical, bruising fullback** who brings more than just lead-blocking value, with scouting profiles noting he can **run, catch, and block**—a useful fit for teams that want a hybrid FB who can stay on the field in multiple personnel looks. ESPN lists him as Texas Southern’s fullback and shows limited recent production, so the appeal is less about volume stats and more about role flexibility, toughness, and matchup utility in short-yardage and play-action packages.
