Mason Barta brings old-school fullback value and high-end football IQ to Kansas State
Mason Barta is a sturdy, 6-1, 234-pound Kansas State fullback whose value goes far beyond box-score numbers: he’s a home-state product, a multi-year letterwinner, and a proven special-teams contributor with academic honors to match. In the 2021 season, he saw action in 11 games and earned First Team Academic All-Big 12 recognition, while team bios describe him as a backup fullback who consistently worked on special teams. If your team wants a tough, assignment-sound, low-drama glue guy who understands leverage, blocking, and culture, Barta fits the bill.
