Virginia Tech DB with Early Promise but Limited Recent Impact
Brion Murray, a 6-0, 178-pound cornerback from Virginia Tech, flashed potential in the 2022 season with 17 tackles (10 solo), 1 TFL, 1 sack, and 1 PBU across seven games and three starts, showcasing speed and tackling tenacity from his Indiana high school days (100 career tackles). Now at Coffeyville C.C. with just one offer, his differentiator is raw athleticism and JUCO upside for teams needing agile DB depth—ideal mid-major fit if he bulks up and refines coverage, though quiet recent production raises questions on consistency.
