Veteran DB with 33 Career Tackles and All-Game Intensity
Ryan Kelsey, a Butler Bulldogs defensive back, is a veteran leader who played in all 11 games in 2014, accumulating 22 tackles that season and 33 career tackles total[4]. While his official stats reflect a 2014 senior year, his differentiator lies in his relentless intensity and reliability—he saw action in 22 career games, proving he can step in when teammates are injured and deliver consistent coverage without hesitation[4]. Kelsey’s personality is defined by quiet confidence and a team-first mindset; he doesn’t need flashy stats to make an impact, instead focusing on reading offenses and shutting down routes. For a team seeking a DB who brings experience, durability, and unwavering focus, Kelsey is a perfect fit—especially in roles requiring depth and leadership over raw statistical dominance. His injury history is minimal, and his intensity level remains high, making him a trustworthy asset in critical defensive moments[4].
