NC State DB Stephen Morrison: Veteran Nickel with Tackling Prowess and Leadership Edge
Redshirt senior Stephen Morrison, a 5-11 Weddington, NC native, transitioned from wide receiver to nickel corner in 2017, leading NC State in special teams tackles as a junior while building a career marked by hustle and versatility[1]. High school defensive captain who helped secure a conference title with 90 tackles, 7 INTs, and 3 forced fumbles, he brings intense special teams reliability, captain-level leadership, and multi-phase intensity that's perfect for teams needing gritty, undersized DBs who excel in coverage and run support without injury red flags. Care because he's a proven differentiator in big moments for the Wolfpack.
