Rontavious Atkins brings proven ball production and back-end toughness to Western Michigan
Atkins stands out as a veteran safety with a track record of impact plays, including 140 career solo tackles, 5 forced fumbles, and 3 interceptions, which points to strong instincts, physicality, and a knack for disrupting offenses.[1][7] He was also rated a 3-star prospect by 247Sports, underscoring that he has long been viewed as a solid all-around defender with college-level traits.[2] For a team, he profiles as a reliable, tone-setting defender who can tackle, create turnovers, and bring experience to the secondary.[1][7]
