Tenley Sweet is giving Notre Dame a steady, contact-first spark in left field
In the 2026 season, Tenley Sweet appeared in 44 games with 36 starts in left field and finished with a .284 batting average, plus a .960 fielding percentage, showing she can contribute on both sides of the ball[1][3]. She flashed timely pop with her first career home run—a three-run shot against Florida State—and added 16 RBIs that season, which is exactly the kind of sneaky-production profile coaches love in a lineup[2]. Her profile suggests a reliable, high-energy role player with enough bat-to-ball and defensive dependability to fit a winning roster[1][3].
