Bubba Wa'a brings compact, physical interior-line grit to Hawaii
Bubba Wa'a is a rugged offensive lineman whose profile points to power, wrestling toughness, and a blue-collar edge: he was a two-time first-team all-star in high school, also won a conference and state heavyweight wrestling title, and logged 98 tackles, 18 tackles-for-loss, and 10 sacks on defense in his prep career. In Hawai'i's program notes, he was listed at 6-2, 295-310 pounds as a redshirt freshman and appeared in four games with two starts at right guard in 2019. If your team wants a nasty, competitive interior blocker with multi-sport strength and a proven willingness to mix it up, he fits the bill.
