Beau Yap brings proven Hawaii-born edge and disruptive DL pedigree
Beau Yap is a familiar Hawaii defensive-line name who arrived at UH as one of the state’s top defensive prospects and later earned all-conference recognition, including honorable mention All-Mountain West in 2014 after finishing his UH career with 45 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks. His calling cards are motor, leverage and hand usage—traits that made him a disruptive edge presence rather than just a box-score player. If you want a tough, local-made defender with production and edge, Yap checks a lot of boxes.
