Lukas Sarantos is a high-leverage, strikeout-capable righty who’s trending up for Saint Mary’s
In the 2026 season, Saint Mary’s RHP Lukas Sarantos emerged as a trusted backend arm, appearing in 22 games with seven starts and finishing 4-3 with two saves while striking out 47 batters in 47 2/3 innings; he also authored a career night with 11 strikeouts over seven innings against LMU. The selling point is his versatility and poise—he can close, spot start, or absorb big innings in pressure spots—and the Gaels leaned on him in key late-season games, including a conference-tournament win. If you want a competitive, fearless arm with swing-and-miss upside, he’s your guy.
