Veteran Bethune-Cookman CB Xavien Cox brings size, ball production, and multi-year experience
Xavien Cox is a seasoned Bethune-Cookman cornerback who entered the 2026 season as a senior after making two appearances in his first year with the Wildcats and arriving with a track record of production from Southwest Oklahoma State, where he logged 18 tackles, an interception, and a forced fumble across two seasons. In his high school career, he showed real playmaking juice with 70 tackles, two picks, 11 pass breakups, a fumble recovery, and even a blocked field goal—classic “find-the-ball” defender stuff. At 5-foot-11, 180 pounds, he looks like a physical, experienced fit for a defense that values instincts and versatility.
