Jeremy Mercier brings steady depth and special-teams value to Arizona’s linebacker room
In the 2023 season, Jeremy Mercier was a reliable rotational piece for Arizona, appearing in all 13 games on defense and special teams while posting 14 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, and 1 pass breakup; in 2022 he logged 6 tackles and another TFL. His value is less about flash and more about dependability, effort, and role acceptance—he’s the kind of linebacker who helps stabilize depth, contributes on special teams, and fits teams that want a physical, assignment-sound defender with experience in multiple phases of the game.
