developmental SDSU QB with upside and roster competition
Cam Roane is a San Diego State quarterback prospect whose value is tied to upside, not proven college production; public roster/profile sources list him as an Aztecs QB, while current SDSU game/roster context shows the depth chart has featured other quarterbacks, suggesting he is still fighting for a larger role[5][6][3]. For a team, his appeal is as a developmental passer with the kind of raw-tool profile that can be molded, but the lack of readily available college stat production means the fit is best for a staff comfortable coaching and evaluating traits over résumé.
