Catraiva Givens brings steady playmaking and veteran polish to Jackson State
Catraiva Givens is a high-IQ, pass-first guard whose value shows up in Jackson State’s offense through ball security, distribution, and composure under pressure. In the 2024-25 depth-chart data, he was listed at 28.4 minutes per game with 3.5 assists per game, and his season profile points to a dependable rotation lead guard rather than a volume scorer[1]. Earlier Jackson State notes also describe him as the team’s floor general, with a track record of facilitating and contributing across categories, which makes him a fit for a coach who wants control, maturity, and organized guard play[1][5].
