Jemuel Cypress brings proven tackling production and downhill reliability to Delaware State
Cypress is a physical, high-motor linebacker whose defining trait is consistent production: he led the PAC in solo tackles and finished with 86 total tackles in his 2024 season, plus disruptive plays with 4.5 tackles for loss, a sack, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. He also showed big-game volume, posting five double-digit tackle outings and a season-high 13 tackles in one game, which suggests a player who lives around the ball and fits as a steady, instinctive fit for a defense that values reliability and toughness.[1]
