Benard Makumbi brings veteran linebacker steadiness to Delaware
Makumbi is a senior linebacker at Delaware, listed at 6-foot-1, 198 pounds, with a profile that suggests durability and trustworthiness more than flash; ESPN’s archived stats show he contributed as a tackling presence in earlier seasons, and Delaware’s roster lists him as an experienced senior defender. [2][4][5] For a team, that usually means a player who can help stabilize the middle of the defense, communicate well, and play with the kind of consistency coaches value in a linebacker room.
