Veteran Penn DB Jacob Martin brings steady ball skills and big-play instincts
Jacob Martin was an All-Ivy honorable mention defensive back for Penn in the 2018 season, and Penn’s notes highlighted a strong start to that year with an interception on the first play from scrimmage plus a game-sealing pass breakup at the end of the 2017 season[13][11]. The appeal is his proven feel for the ball, composure in pressure moments, and senior-level reliability as a defensive back who already showed he can swing games; if a team wants a seasoned, instinctive secondary piece rather than a developmental flyer, he fits the bill[13][11].
