Idaho’s Veteran Forward with Pro Pedigree and Big-Sky Resilience
Brayon Blake, a 6-7 small forward for the Idaho Vandals, brings a rare blend of professional experience and junior college grit to college basketball. Though he originally signed with Idaho in 2015 after playing at North Idaho College, Blake has evolved into a seasoned presence known for his intense defensive IQ, versatile scoring from the wing, and leadership in high-pressure Big Sky Tournament games—like Idaho’s 2025 quarterfinal upset of Portland State. His differentiator isn’t just stats; it’s his relentless intensity, basketball maturity from his pro background, and ability to elevate teammates. If you need a forward who plays with purpose, reads defenses like a coach, and thrives in elimination games, Blake is a high-fit, low-risk addition who delivers when it matters most.
