UAB’s steady, high-IQ floor general with deep range and big-game poise
Deanna Kuzmanic was a do-everything guard for UAB, capping her career as one of the program’s most productive and durable players: she finished with 1,116 career points, 128 assists in her final season, and helped set the school single-season assist record with 590 as a team contributor. In the 2018-19 season, she averaged 12.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.4 assists while shooting .409 from three, a nice sign of scoring, spacing, and playmaking touch. She’s the kind of guard coaches love: tough, reliable, efficient, and unafraid of volume minutes.
