Jamaal Day brings steady backcourt minutes for South Carolina State
Jamaal Day is a **rotation guard** for South Carolina State whose current profile is built more on steady floor management than high-volume scoring, with season stats showing **2.0 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 0.9 assists** while shooting **36.8%** from the field in the cited ESPN season line. His value is in being a usable, low-drama backcourt piece who can fill gaps and keep possessions moving, though the statistical record available here does not show him as a primary creator or explosive scorer. If your team wants a guard who can contribute in a support role rather than carry an offense, he fits that mold.[1]
