steady, smart Utah State guard with a coach’s-eye value
Pualei Furtado is a 5-foot-5 guard for Utah State whose profile is built on steadiness, unselfish play, and high-IQ floor leadership rather than flashy volume; in her Utah State career, she was a multi-year Academic All-WAC selection and finished with 83 games played, 1.6 points, 0.7 rebounds, and 0.6 assists per game. Her value is in the little things—ball movement, reliable effort, and toughness as a smaller guard who competed across multiple seasons. She looks like the kind of player coaches trust when they want discipline, energy, and team-first basketball.
