Ashley Bassett-Smith gives App State a physical, efficient frontcourt presence
Bassett-Smith has the profile of a dependable interior forward: she has shown efficient scoring touch around the rim, including a 19-point game on 8-for-10 shooting, and previously contributed 5.7 points per game with 37 blocks in a season where she played all 30 games. Her value goes beyond box-score scoring—she brings size, shot-blocking, and a steady work rate that translates to defense and toughness inside. If you need a frontcourt player who can protect the paint and finish efficiently, she looks like a strong fit.
