Kyle Archie brings veteran linebacker instincts and steady production to Norfolk State
Kyle Archie is best known as a high-IQ, physical linebacker whose value shows up in run fits, tackling consistency, and leadership more than flash. In the 2017 season, he was already a proven starter and an All-MEAC third-team selection, and earlier reports noted a midseason role change that unlocked his production with 53 tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss, one interception, and one pass breakup in six games. That profile screams dependable, assignment-sound defender — the kind who can stabilize a defense and fit nicely on a team that wants toughness, communication, and a player who doesn’t need the spotlight to make plays.
