Qay Stanton brings veteran guard savvy and playmaking punch to Eastern Kentucky
Qay Stanton’s EKU track record points to a crafty, pass-first guard who can steady an offense: in the 2019-20 season she averaged 6.9 points, 3.6 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game, with a career-best seven assists against Vanderbilt and a season-high 16 points at SIU Edwardsville. Her best differentiators are decision-making, ball pressure and a knack for filling the stat sheet; she’s also been praised for earning all-conference and all-region honors earlier in her path. If your team needs a composed, competitive connector rather than a pure shot-creator, she fits the brief nicely.
