Tristan Wells brings steady, physical linebacker depth to Jacksonville State
Wells profiles as a reliable, assignment-sound linebacker whose value comes from consistency, toughness, and straight-ahead run defense rather than flashy splash plays; ESPN lists 4 solo tackles and no sacks, forced fumbles, or interceptions, while Jacksonville State’s roster notes he saw action in nine games in 2022 and finished with seven tackles. For a team looking for a hard-nosed, willing contact player who can help stabilize the defense and do the dirty work, he looks like a fit—especially if you value effort, discipline, and dependable depth over headline-grabbing production.[1][4]
