Kamden Hawks is emerging as a high-upside lefty with strikeout stuff and improving command
Hawks is a left-handed starter whose profile is built on bat-missing ability and toughness: in 2025 at Morehead State, he led the staff with 57 strikeouts in 58 innings, held hitters to a .245 average, and earned OVC All-Freshman honors. He also carried that momentum into summer ball, where in June 2026 he posted a 1.69 ERA, 0.31 WHIP, and a .061 opponent average for the Appalachian League’s champion-level attention. The appeal is clear: he has proven swing-and-miss stuff, works deep enough to start, and projects as a competitive fit for a team that values development and upside.
