Veteran East Texas A&M linebacker Xavier Morris brings a proven, steady edge
Xavier Morris is a seasoned East Texas A&M linebacker with a long developmental track and special-teams/value depth background, which usually signals toughness, reliability, and coach trust rather than flash. In 2022, the roster listed him at 5-11, 218 pounds, and his career timeline shows he has been around winning football for years, including the Lions’ 2017 Division II national title run. The main appeal: he looks like a dependable, high-effort defender who can fit a physical, assignment-sound room and help set the tone.
