Gage Peterson brings pro-ready size and draft pedigree to App State's rotation
The 6-foot-5, 220-pound right-hander has the kind of frame pro scouts love, and his 2025 draft stock backed that up with rankings around No. 247–249 overall and a seventh-round selection by Washington; at App State, he also earned Academic All-District honors in 2026. His biggest selling points are projection, mound presence and a profile that already looks starter-ready, but the real question for a team is whether his stuff and command keep trending up as he transitions from a drafted arm into a dependable college impact pitcher.
