Daniel Jones is a high-volume, ball-hawking safety who led Richmond in tackles and interceptions
In 2025, Daniel Jones started all 11 games at safety for Richmond and led the Spiders with 86 total tackles and a team-best three interceptions, showing reliable run support, range, and takeaways ability[1]. What separates him is the combination of durability, production, and playmaking: he was on the field every week, made stops consistently, and produced impact plays from the secondary[1]. If you want a defensive back who can anchor coverage and help change possession, he looks like a strong fit.
