Essence Baucom is Elon’s steady floor general with pass-first value
Baucom’s 2024-25 profile points to a **creator-heavy guard** who impacts winning beyond scoring: she averaged **4.5 assists**, **3.7 rebounds**, and **1.2 steals** in **27.5 minutes**, while leading Elon and ranking **third in the CAA with 138 assists**[3]. That combination suggests a guard who can organize an offense, compete defensively, and keep teammates involved—useful for a team that wants composure and ball movement more than pure shot volume[3].
