Clifton Cooper brings Ponder pedigree and high-upside versatility to Arkansas-Pine Bluff
Cooper arrives at Arkansas-Pine Bluff with a strong prep résumé from Ponder High School, where he piled up 4,254 passing yards, completed 62.7% of his throws, and produced 55 total touchdowns in a standout senior year. His profile suggests a player with real field vision, competitiveness, and a knack for creating plays in space—traits that translate well if UAPB wants an athlete who can stress defenses beyond the box score. Current public stat lines for his college career are not available, so the intrigue here is upside: a former high-output playmaker who could fit well if your team values polish, composure, and multi-dimensional football IQ.
