Ryan Wight brings old-school toughness to Weber State’s back end
Ryan Wight is listed with Weber State’s football program, but the available public stats in hand don’t clearly confirm a current-season role or 2026 stat line. The profile that does emerge is of a physical, downhill safety type who has historically shown willingness to tackle, read run action, and play with intensity rather than flashy ball-hawking volume. If you want a dependable, tone-setting defensive back who can help against the run and bring edge to the secondary, Wight looks like the kind of fit coaches usually appreciate.
