Goose Crowder opens 2026 with a veteran pulse and a big-play spark for Troy
In the 2026 season, Troy senior QB Goose Crowder looks like a steady, seasoned distributor with some juice: he opened with 12 completions, 165 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions in Troy’s 24-21 win over Sam Houston, while also adding 38 rushing yards. He’s a sixth-year quarterback and a team captain, which tells you Troy trusts his command, resilience, and presence in the huddle. The fit? Good for a team that wants poise, experience, and timely shot-making more than pure backyard fireworks.
