Kurt Thomas gives Saint Peter’s a veteran captain on the mound
In the 2025 season, redshirt right-handed pitcher Kurt Thomas logged 17.0 innings over 10 appearances for Saint Peter’s, starting five games and striking out seven, and he was named a 2026 team captain—so the coaching staff clearly trusts his steadiness and leadership.[1][3] The stat line isn’t flashy, but the differentiators are the veteran profile, academic recognition, and a durable rotation role; he looks like a fit for teams wanting a composed, team-first arm rather than a pure velocity headline.[1][3]
