Diego Barrett brings strikeout punch, but command remains the key question for N.C. A&T
Barrett is a right-handed pitcher for North Carolina A&T who has logged 42.1 innings with 36 strikeouts and 2 wins, but a 6.38 ERA shows he is still a work in progress on run prevention in the 2026 context. His appeal is the arm talent: he can miss bats and has shown enough durability to handle meaningful innings, which matters for a staff looking for upside. If you want a developmental arm with real strikeout potential rather than a finished product, he is worth a close look.
