Furman’s rookie punter is already in the mix
C.J. Falotico is a freshman specialist for Furman in the 2026 season, listed as a 5-foot-10, 230-pound punter/place-kicker from Charleston, South Carolina, and he’s part of a newly added punting group rather than a long-tenured veteran core[2][8]. The main draw here is projection: he’s a college-ready body with specialist versatility, and Furman’s own preview suggests he’s competing for a role in the specialist room, which usually matters more than raw stat lines early on[8]. If your team wants a young, developmental leg with room to grow, he’s a name worth watching.
