C.J. Johnson gives Tennessee State a proven big-play WR presence
C.J. Johnson brings legit veteran receiver chops to Tennessee State, with a track record of production at East Carolina and the kind of route-running and ball-tracking that can elevate an offense beyond the box score. In his 2022 season at East Carolina, he caught 67 passes for 1,016 yards and 10 touchdowns, showing he can be a true feature target when healthy and featured. For a team, that makes him intriguing as a dependable chain-mover with red-zone upside and real experience against higher-level competition.
