Resilient Forward with Elite FG% and a Heart for the Game
Yilret Yiljep, a 6-7 graduate forward from Jos, Nigeria, stands out not just for his 58.3% field goal percentage in the 2025-26 season, but for his extraordinary resilience: after being misdiagnosed with a heart condition that barred him from playing for four years, he returned to the court with unmatched intensity and a quiet, determined personality. While his stats (2.8 PPG, 2.4 REB) reflect a supporting role, his differentiator is his mental fortitude and reliability in high-pressure moments. He’s a low-risk, high-character fit for any team seeking grit, discipline, and a player who proves that true strength comes from overcoming adversity.
