hard-hitting Marshall linebacker with a proving-ground season ahead
Ben Poe is a Marshall linebacker whose value is tied less to flash and more to physicality, toughness, and assignment discipline — the kind of defender coaches love because he can be trusted to do the dirty work. I couldn’t verify reliable, current stat-tracker or scouting data for his 2026 performance, so the clearest read is that he profiles as a fit if your team wants a downhill, tone-setting LB who brings effort, contact, and special-teams utility rather than headline-grabbing numbers.
