Experienced Louisiana Tech QB with past high-volume production, but limited current impact
Scotty Young’s profile is defined by a strong prep résumé—he once piled up 8,962 passing yards and 129 touchdowns in two seasons—and the maturity of a quarterback who earned a shot after being patient, but his Louisiana Tech production was modest, with 733 yards, 4 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions in six starts, suggesting more of a developmental or depth option than a proven difference-maker.[2][4][5][6]
