Jake Barr brings veteran, high-IQ linebacker play to Campbell
Jake Barr’s strongest edge is reliability: Campbell has long valued him as a disciplined, versatile linebacker who fits in a defense because he understands leverage, assignment football, and how to stay on schedule. In his standout Campbell seasons, he piled up 69 tackles in 2015 and was third on the team in tackles, which lines up with the reputation as a dependable run-and-react defender rather than a flashy stat hunter. If a team wants toughness, instinct, and a low-drama, high-accountability presence, Barr is the kind of linebacker who quietly raises the floor.
