Fordham’s veteran edge presence who flashed sack production
Brandon Weir was a seasoned Fordham defensive lineman who, in the 2016 season, started all 11 games and tied for the team lead with 4.5 sacks while adding 6.5 tackles for loss, showing a disruptive get-off and real backfield punch. Fordham listed him as a two-year starter, and he also produced in 2015 with 2 sacks and 4 tackles for loss, which points to steady pass-rush value rather than one hot streak. He looks like a high-motor, assignment-solid fit for teams wanting veteran toughness and edge pressure, especially if they prize reliability over flashy measurables.
