Rice DB John White: steady veteran with proven ball production and special-teams value
In the 2025 season, Rice defensive back John White showed reliable run support and a knack for finding the football, with ESPN listing him at 6 total tackles and 0 interceptions in limited action, while also reflecting his long-running value as a versatile, toughness-first defensive back. His differentiators are experience, special-teams usefulness, and a physical, no-frills style that coaches typically trust in the slot or on coverage units. If your team needs a dependable depth piece more than a headline-grabber, White fits the bill.
