Valpo’s redshirt freshman arm with runway
In the 2026 season, Mia Carroll-Greeves is a redshirt freshman pitcher for Valparaiso, and the biggest takeaway is simple: her value is still more projection than box-score noise, because she sat out her first year on campus in 2025 and entered 2026 as part of the Beacons’ returning pitching group.[1][2][3] At 5'6" with a right-right profile, she offers depth and development upside in a staff that Valpo has highlighted as needing reinforcements, which makes her a smart fit for teams betting on coachability, patience, and long-term growth rather than instant headline stats.[2][3]
