Cade Tousa brings contact, speed, and on-base skills to VCU’s infield
In the 2026 season, Cade Tousa has been a contact-first infielder for VCU, hitting .200 with a .314 on-base percentage across 22 games, but his bigger value is the profile he brought in from Iowa Western CC: disciplined plate appearances, elite baserunning efficiency, and proven run production as a multi-year starter. He helped drive a winning JUCO résumé with 38 stolen bases, a 92.7% success rate, and a .357/.500/.500 freshman line, which suggests a player who can pressure defenses even when the bat is quiet.[1][2]
