Eastern Illinois DB with High School Pedigree and Untapped Versatility
Devin Brinson, a 6-0, 190-pound defensive back for the Eastern Illinois Panthers, transitioned from a standout high school running back in Carmel, IN—where he rushed for a season-high 152 yards and earned first-team All-Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference honors—to a hard-hitting DB at the college level. His athletic frame, speed, and football IQ make him a physical presence in the secondary, ideal for FCS programs seeking versatile defenders who can cover and tackle with intensity. Still developing stats at EIU, Brinson's work ethic and multi-positional background scream 'hidden gem' for teams needing gritty, adaptable DBs—no major injury flags, just pure upside.
