Locke Kennedy’s length gives Middle Tennessee a rangy, high-upside defensive back
In the 2025 season, Locke Kennedy arrived at Middle Tennessee as a 6-3, 194-pound defensive back with a safety/CB profile, giving the Blue Raiders a long-bodied coverage piece who can match up physically and bring versatility. His appeal is upside: he was a strong high-school producer at Battle Ground Academy and was viewed as a solid in-state signee, but his college impact is still more projection than production, with little statistical track record yet. If a team wants size, range, and developmental upside in the secondary, he’s worth a look.
