Khalif Toombs brings veteran point-guard poise and shot-making to South Carolina State
Khalif Toombs is a steady, veteran floor general for South Carolina State whose profile has long been built on scoring touch, playmaking, and pressure reliability; in his 2012-13 season he averaged 9.1 points, 4.1 assists, and shot 36.3% from the field, with a career average of 4.1 assists and 9.1 points over 125 games. He was repeatedly described by South Carolina State as a point guard with “great scoring ability,” three-point range, and the knack for making teammates better in pressure situations, which makes him the kind of guard coaches trust when the game gets crunchy.
