Ohio LB Nieco Teipel brings veteran size, versatility, and special-teams value
Nieco Teipel is a seasoned Ohio linebacker who has been on the roster for multiple seasons, with official Ohio listings showing him as an LB/P and around 6-foot-1 to 6-foot-1.5 at roughly 225-230 pounds in the 2012-13 era, which hints at a sturdy, multi-role profile rather than a pure splash-play stat line[1][2]. His best differentiators are versatility, physicality, and the kind of coach-trust value that often shows up in special teams and depth roles; his recruiting profile also pointed to tackling and inside run support as key strengths[3]. If you want a reliable, assignment-sound fit with experience and toughness, he looks like the type of defender staffs love to keep on the field.
