Central Michigan RB to Watch for Explosive, Physical Change-of-Pace Upside
D.J. McClure is a Central Michigan running back worth tracking because his value is less about raw box-score volume and more about whether he can carve out a reliable role as a tough, efficient depth piece in the Chippewas’ backfield. Current public results do not provide strong, detailed stat-line evidence for his 2025-26 performance, so the clearest read is that he is still in the evaluation phase as a roster candidate rather than a proven feature back. If you need a back with upside traits and willingness to compete for snaps, he is the kind of player who can earn opportunity through consistency and versatility.
